Nancy and Gregg moved to Grogan’s Point in 2004 with their family of 5 kids. These days they have only their youngest daughter Taylor 16 still in the nest. Nancy has served as Children’s Chair in years past and is excited to have finally graduated to Adult Events!
Elizabeth and Dean moved to Grogans Point two years ago and have enjoyed being a part of such a wonderful neighborhood and community. They have three grown sons and a beautiful daughter-in-law. Elizabeth served as Co-chair of Adult Events last year and looks forward to serving again this year.
Claudia graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston. She taught school for 29 years and always had a passion and love for teaching. Claudia considered it an honor to be called “teacher” and was named “Teacher of the Year” in the Spring District.
Claudia enjoys art, travel, gardening, and entertaining with friends. She credits her most important role as wife, mom and grandmother. Claudia is proud to be married to Tom who developed and owned Brian Thomas industries. They have lived in Grogan’s Point for 25 years raising two wonderful sons. She is a member of Cypress-Woodland’s Junior Forum and serves Meals on Wheels for senior citizens. Claudia has served on the Grogan’s Point Board for eight years and has also chaired the Welcoming and Dine In Committees. She is currently Membership Chair for the Bluebonnet Garden Club in the surrounding area and heads up GPRA's Beautification Committee, which enhances the landscape in Grogan’s Point entrances and roadway medians. The Woodlands and Grogan’s Point is truly home for the Rigamontis!

My family and I have lived in Grogan's Point for the last two and a half years. When I am not busy driving my children around The Woodlands, I teach, work as a consultant, and volunteer for various local nonprofits, including the church where we worship and the schools that our kids attend.
I was born in East Africa. I have been residing here in Grogan's Point for 11 years. I am married and have 2 kids. I am an Occupational Therapist, but my real job is to run around helping friends and driving my children to various places.
Alison Amato-Terni, her husband Steve, and their five children have been residents of Grogan's Point since the summer of 2013. Steve retired as an executive from Exxon Mobil, where he is proud to have worked for 42 years. Alison graduated from the University of Houston- Downtown with a Bachelor of Science degree. She spent years working as webmaster for a local radio station. Currently, she is a stay-at-home mom who enjoys spending time with family, yoga, decorating, cooking, traveling, and volunteer work.
Alison believes Grogan's Point is "the best neighborhood in The Woodlands" and is looking forward to being this year's Directory Chair.
As a seasoned realtor of 37 years, Cheryle' Sanderson doesn’t hesitate when asked which neighborhood in The Woodlands is the best – it’s the same one she’s proud to call home for the past nearly 3 decades since moving here in 1990. In addition to acting as Membership Chair for several years, Cheryle' has served as President on the GPRA , chaired the Children's Events Committee, hosted "Friends In The Park" for many years, opened her home to the Holiday Home Tour hosted by the GPRA to benefit local charities, and served on many other committees. Cheryle' has many accolades in her field and has developed lifelong friendships with her neighbors, many of whom are also clients.
Kara Morin is a relatively new resident to Texas and Grogan’s Point, having relocated with her husband, John at the beginning of 2015. Kara is a practicing financial advisor in The Woodlands, continuing her career that began in San Diego. Kara and John can often be seen around the neighborhood walking their two large dogs: a German Shepherd and Black English Mastiff. Her enthusiasm for Grogan’s Point, its amenities, and the friendly neighbors make her a great cheerleader for drumming up support for GPRA membership.
Jim and his wife, Sharon, have been residents of Grogan's Point since 1998. Jim retired from Texaco Inc. after 38 years, and now works as a volunteer for CASA and enjoys playing golf. Sharon is currently working as a Realtor affiliated with Better Homes & Gardens/Gary Greene. Their three children, James II, Susan and Michael are grown and married.
A Pennsylvania native, Beth lived in Florida and Arizona prior to moving to her home in Texas in beautiful Grogan’s Point. Beth and her husband Gary feel fortunate that they found a neighborhood full of warm, caring and VERY fun people that quickly made them feel at home in The Woodlands.
Beth and Gary share a blended family that includes three daughters, a son and two grandchildren.
Beth graduated with a degree in Technical Writing and Editing from Carnegie Mellon University and has been a professional writer, teacher and college admissions advisor throughout her career.
