National Night Out Was a Success

And also, a big Texas-sized "thank you" to our neighbors who participated in our chili and baked goods cook-off. Congratulations to our chili cook-off winner, Fred Klinker!  The kids and parents alike had loads of fun jumping in the bounce houses, riding the bucking bronco, and petting the pets from Operation Pets Alive.

Operation Pets Alive is very grateful for all the love shown by our generous Grogan's Point residents. Along with Nature Dog Photography of Houston and Woodlands Pool Service, donations totaled $868 and one dog found a new home!

Please keep Operation Pets Alive in mind when thinking about adopting a pet or looking for a volunteer opportunity. They are a local group and would be thrilled to have your support.

A big thanks to Nature Dog Photography of Houston for donating their time and talents.

And a big shout out to Woodlands Pool Service owners Rick and Wendy Entwistle for their matching gift. Your kindness and generosity to our community is so appreciated!

Operation Pets Alive! is a non-profit, volunteer organization striving to elevate Montgomery County to a NO-KILL community through innovative programs that raise community awareness, reduce the number of dogs and cats that enter our shelters and increase the number of dogs and cats that leave our shelters alive.
