Earth Day Clean Up in Grogan's Point

The day dawned bright and clear on Saturday's Earth Day clean up in GP. With very short notice, we had more than 15 neighbors come out and pick up trash throughout Grogan’s Point in support of the Woodlands Township’s Earth Day/ Green Up event.

We found car parts, large sections of plastic piping, lots of cans, bottles and cigarette butts (do you realize cigarette butts take more than two years to decompose and plastic bottles take about 450 years) as well as a variety of other items discarded in the woods and along our paths. We really appreciate our neighbors and their work to keep Grogan’s Point clean and protect our wildlife from harm.

Thank you to all our dedicated trash collectors. Well done!! HERE are some photos of our residents in action.
